Day 8: Go to Zoo Lights!
Luckily, Nora doesn't know how to read yet because, technically, the activity card said...
We originally were planning on going to zoo lights next Friday. Dan has to go downtown for work, so I was going to take the kids down on the train (was I crazy to even agree to that plan??) then Dan would pick us up at the train station and go to Zoo Lights. But low and behold, we decided to go today since it was supposed to be fairly nice and we had nothing to do this weekend anyway. Worked out perfectly. Temp continued to get better throughout the night as the breeze died down. Not too crowded. Another great trip to the Lincoln Park Zoo Lights.
We got to the zoo right around 5:45 so we headed straight to the cafeteria for dinner and then we were onto see the animals and lights.

After dinner, the kids got to decorate a sugar-man (gingerbread man made from a sugar cookie) |

| Most for the sugar-man; a bit for her. |

This picture is so clear it looks like I'm outside taking the picture. |

Right after this picture Myles made a break for it diving under the chains. He did this numerous times throughout the zoo. Luckily, one of us were always within arms reach to snatch him back quickly. |

I will love looking back at all the pictures with Guy in them when she's older. |
