Twelve Months Old

Twelve months old and he's...

WALKING! Watch out! 

Goes up and down the stairs

tries to climb on everything 

still splashing (and drinking) out of Rusty's water dish 

been in his first vacation and consequently dipped his toes in the ocean

completely off of formula

says "hi" to everyone and everything

has three teeth with two more just waiting for the right time to bust through

loves his sister more than anything

babbles all the time, loudly, very loudly

And just to remind you that he's
bigger now he'll show you his
super human strength. 

The temperature was 102 on his
birthday so we went with his birthday
suit during the photo shoot.

Nora was really looking forward to
this part -- the part where she got to
sing happy birthday.
She had been practicing.

He wasn't sure what to do so Nora showed him.

And what a nice boy - he decided to share with his sister.

And even though Daddy couldn't be here in person, he
was with us the best way he could be.  He got to sing
happy birthday and watch him pick and his cupcake.

Despite her best efforts, Myles just wan't that into
the cupcake. 

Although his body would have
led you to believe otherwise.

Time for presents (Daddy got to watch this part too)
Gram got him a Radio Flyer sit and scoot rider.  It wasn't
even out of the box yet and he tried to get on it.  Best
reaction you could possibly get from a one year old!
