Eight Months Old

Eight months old and he's....

NOISY!!

Man, this child plays loud, cries loud, and even eats loud.

been called "busy" (meaning he moves A LOT)

and "all boy" numerous times while we're out.

trying his best to crawl but with no luck so far.

(but he can scoot backwards like a champ!)

still toothless.

eating more finger foods.

(string cheese, cheerios, etc)

mastering the pincher grasp.

sleeping until SIX!!
(yeah!!! I've been waaaaiiiiting)

starting to put up a little bit of a fuss at nap time.

forgotten how to roll over.

(He'll still go from back to front but then gets "stuck"

and won't go front to back anymore... we shall see)

still as happy as ever!  He's quick to give you a smile.

This shirt is actually fitting now!
And check out those solid legs!
They are just about the softest thing
you will ever feel.

He gave me one good one -

then said, "let me at 'em!"

My apprentice came along for the shoot today.

"You want me to what?"

(Can you do me a favor and check out
that beer belly?!  Even the doc was
laughing about his big ol' belly.)

"Just look at you and look cute?
Done."

"Cheese!"

Getting a picture with the tie on this month was no easy
feat.  You see, Mr. Drooly's shirt was all wet from, well, drool.
So the tie didn't stick well.
I had to take the picture through the table since he didn't
want to be away from the book basket.
Then he noticed it...

and thought he'd put it in his mouth like he does with
everything else.  Why not, right?

How's the working out for you, dude?
And then 1.4 seconds later the whole thing was off.
End of shoot.
